Julia Carter
Julia Carter is an award-winning Australian artist, who lives on Queensland’s beautiful SunshineCoast, with her studio hidden away amidst tranquil acreage, where she draws a great deal of her inspiration.
Originally from England, where she received her honours degree in sculpture, Julia has returned to the visual arts, following an eight-year teaching career. Her passion and dedication to painting have already rewarded her with a great deal of success, with her paintings being sold widely interstate and overseas.
Julia’s talent ranges from traditional breath-taking landscapes, sensual embellished nudes to contemporary mixed media abstracts, with bold colours and a vibrant energy, which connects all her work.
With her playful experimental approach, and energetic optimistic attitude towards life, her artwork celebrates the world in which she lives and conveys an overwhelming “joie de vivre” to every viewer.
