Elizabeth Wilson
My paintings are inspired from many sources. I spend a great deal of time travelling in outback Australia and love to convey on canvass the colours, moods and the vastness of our land and seascapes..
Flowers also have a particular attraction for me, their colour combinations and delicacy are wonderful subject matter and I love to paint poppies through to tropical flowers such as water lilies.
Europe is another love, every alleyway, café and building is another painting waiting to happen.
My work also includes contemporary women inspired from observing everyday life and the fun of women with attitude.I love to paint these ladies in a surreal style which compliments a modern home.
I paint in oils and acrylics in a contemporary style moving from
landscapes, seascapes, people, flowers to red & pink cows. I love to challenge myself with different subjects that evoke an emotional response and tell a story.
I am a resident in the Bayside area of Melbourne.
